The 2008 Ricco is the latest evolution of the popular MaxiR micro-helicopter. With aluminum frames the Ricco weighs in at 350-420 grams depending on components used, and has a 620mm rotor span. Depending on flying style and motor used, flight times range from 8-20 minutes using a 640-1500 mAh battery. The Ricco like the MaxiR is known for its light disc loading, low parts count, smooth and quiet operation, and 3D performance out of the box.
The black version kit has black landing skids, boom, and frames.
Use an AXI 2208-26 motor for a balance of power and flight duration, or the AXI 2208-20 for more ballistic 3D power. A 10-amp or higher ESC is recommended such as the Castle Creations Phoenix-10. The Turnigy 1900Kv motor, ESC, and ESC programming card is another great power setup for the Ricco.
